Don't give up - the veterinarian needs to be looking into the source of the allergies, rather than treating only the itchy feet. Likely the grass in your new area is the culprit. Oral steroids usually aren't as expensive, and are a common medication for allergic dogs. It may cost a bit more up front, but you may want to consult a dermatologist in your area. They will help you get to the root cause, and may even be able to give a de-sensitization shot to the grass allergens in your area. . Dr. Edward Rosser is a dermatologist in Michigan that does amazing work with allergies. If all else fails, look him up on google and contact him. ;) ;)
