1950's Alabama. Tyrone, the proprietor of the Honeydripper Lounge is deep in debt. Desperate to bring back the crowds, he announces a one-night appearance by the legendary 'Guitar Sam.' But when Sam fails to arrive, he's forced to turn to a young drifter with a strange guitar to help save his club.
