"...as pure a shot of adrenaline as any Tarantino fan could wish for." - Bruce Diones (New Yorker)
"Extraordinary stunt and fight work and nonstop excitement, but a warning to those who are at all squeamish: this may be the most violent movie I've ever seen." - Peter Rainer (Christian Science Monitor)
"...viewers will wonder how the amazing battle that just ended could possibly be topped. But it is, again and again." - Robert Koehler (Variety)
Visceral, violent, extraordinary. It keeps you on edge from beginning to end with fight scenes that leaves you gasping at how in the world did they choreograph this? The terrific edgy score seamlessly complements the gutsy photography and the action which in parts resemble a visceral rock video and in most parts , dizzying post modern cinema. The Indonesian actors went all out and set a new bar for martial art films. It's funny too; a masterpiece of its kind! Go see it even if it's "not even in English"!
