Exhilaratingly naturalistic portrait of Marnie, a winsome, diffident post-grad slackerette looking for a temp job but a permanent boyfriend. Marnie finds herself in love with a guy who likes her too much too love her back while bouncing between awkward romantic alternatives yet all the while (mostly) keeping her sense of humor.

One of the most critically and festival audience acclaimed American indies of recent years that failed to find a distrbutor, one has to suppose, due to the currently unfashionable qualities that makes it so unique and enjoyable: its behavioral authenticity, its aesthetically pleasing but decidedly lo-fi production values and general commitment to catching life going by.

"A gem of smart writing, seamless acting and unvarnished beauty...Kate Dollenmayer gives one of the year's best performances as Marnie, while the dialogue -- a symphony of pauses, stutters and nervous laughter -- is so natural you'll think you were watching a documentary."
- Ernest Hardy, LA Weekly

Really, really bad, which is a shame too. It looked great, and while Dollenmeyer turns in a fantastic preformance, the constant stuttering and reality of all the dialogue doesn't help the fact that the movie, in a way, has no plot that could be of any interest. I felt that if I put a camera while I'm talking to all my friends, there could have been a better movie than this piece of drivel.
