French scientist Dr. Pauline Joubert wants to expose Nikola Tesla's secret low-frequency radio wave warfare, which destroys the environment, animal life, and entire populations who become its innocent victims. In efforts to cover up their diabolical warfare techniques, the government hires hitman Jean-Jacques, who murders Pauline in New York's Central Park in 1985. The very next day, Cassie Cole is born. A southern belle, true-crime blogger and perpetual truth-seeker, Cassie, as an adult, begins to experience moments in her life as if she herself is Pauline, ranting nonsensically in French. With the help of her sympathetic psychiatrist, who researches and deciphers her rantings, Cassie discovers that she is the reincarnation of Pauline. Eventually, Cassie will enlighten the world by reporting the true story of Pauline's thwarted heroism and bring her killer to justice.
