Awesome thriller with beautiful scenery!

July 22, 2017
This movie is hopefully a shining comeback for Hayden Christensen who seems to have never recovered from the great sting of the Star Wars prequels, although some of his films since have been great films. The role of police chief (that everyone loves) is typical for Bruce Willis, who seems to have made a movie career of putting bad guys away. Ty Shelton and Megan Leonard are the best complements to Christensen's character Will the father. And, Gethin Anthony's robber with a heart character makes for a perfect smokescreen as to who the real villains are. While Granville Ohio is "truly a gem," as Chief Howell tells the Beamons, the town seems to harbor it's share of secrets that unravel with the mystery of the bank heist that takes a gruesome turn for Will and Danny. Nothing is truly as it seems in it Granville, and things are suspicious from the very beginning. After Danny and Will witness the police officer's shooting of Levi (apparently a robber-for-hire), the mystery likens to a ball of yarn that unravels in the most bizarre way. If you are into suspense, action, and mystery, First Kill is the movie you must see!
