I THOUGHT HAT I WAS REALLY GOING TO LIKE THIS FILM BECAUSE SEXUAL TRAFFICKING OF WOMEN (& GIRLS & BOYS) IS SUCH AN URGENT ISSUE. UNFORTUNEATLY, IT QUICKLY DEVOLVES INTO A HORRIBLE REVENGE DRAMA ALONG THE LINES OF "KILL BILL" & "THE BRIDE WORE BLACK." ONCE WE HEAR THAT THE CHARACTER, JIMMY, WHO HAD BEEN SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER & IS NOW BEING LET OUT OF JAIL, IS GOING TO LOOK FOR HIS MISSING DAUGHTER ON HIS OWN, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OBVIOUS THAT THIS FILM WAS GOING TO TURN OUT BADLY. ANY FATHER WHO IS TRULY CONCERNED ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER'S SAFETY WOULD HAVE ASKED THE POLICE TO LOOK FOR HER BECAUSE THE POLICE OFFICERS ARE THE ONES WHO PROTECT WOMEN, GIRLS, & BOYS FROM PIMPS, SEX TRAFFICKERS, & VIOLENT CUSTOMERS. BUT, INSTEAD OF DISPLAYING HOW MUCH OFFICERS HELP THESE VICTIMS, THIS FILM DEPICTS OFFICERS AS THE ULTIMATE VILLAINS. IN ONE SCENE, AN ASIAN-AMERICAN OFFICER BRUTALIZES A YOUNG SEX WORKER, & JIMMY SHOOTS HIM TO DEATH. WE LATER HEAR FROM A CHARACTER NAMED ANASTASIA THAT JIMMY'S DAUGHTER, ANNABELLE, WAS MURDERED BY A POLICE OFFICER. THIS INACCURATE NEGATIVE DEPICTION OF POLICE OFFICERS IS PARTICULARLY TROUBLING NOW BECAUSE THE ASSASSIN OF AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN OFFICER NAMED JAMES HOLMES IS BEING LET OUT OF JAIL BY NY STATE'S NOTORIOUSLY ANTI-POLICE PAROLE BOARD. (I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYONE FROM BLACK LIVES MATTER SAY ANY WORD OF SYMPATHY FOR THE FAMILIES OF OFFICER HOLMES OR ANY OF THE OTHER AFRICAN-AMERICAN OFFICERS WHO HAVE BEEN ASSASSINATED. IT'S ALSO TROUBLING THAT THE OFFICER WHO IS MURDERED BY JIMMY IS ASIAN-AMERICAN BECAUSE ASIAN-AMERICAN OFFICERS LIKE WENJIAN LIU & ALAIN SHAINBERGER WERE ASSASSINATED DURING THE LINE OF DUTY. (I HAVE ALSO NEVER HEARD ANYONE FROM BLM EXPRESS SYMPATHY TO THEIR FAMILIES OR TO THE FAMILIES OF THE LATINO OFFICERS- LIKE RAFAEL RAMOS, WHO WAS OFFICER LIU'S PARTNER- WHO WERE ASSASSINATED WHILE ON DUTY). I ALSO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY JIMMY COULDN'T HAVE CONVINCED ANASTASIA TO GO TO THE POLICE W HIM TO FIND ANNABELLE'S MURDERER. INSTEAD, THE LAST WE SEE OF ANASTASIA IS WHEN JIMMY IS GETTING READY TO MURDER HER, & SHE BEGS HIM TO TELL HER PARENTS WHERE HE LEFT HER BODY. WHEN I READ THE POSITIVE COMMENTS FROM THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE LEFT COMMENTS ABOUT THIS FILM, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A REALLY GOOD FILM. BUT AFTER SEEING THIS AWFUL FILM, I REALIZE THAT THEY ONLY SAW WHAT THEY WANTED TO SEE, & NOT WHAT THIS FILM WAS REALLY LIKE.

This Movie Was An Amazing Thriller, It Had Alot Of Real Issues That We Are Tackling In The World Today, Clashing Of Sex & Religion, The Pastor Has A Daughter Of Lesbian Sexual Orientation, She Runs Away & The Story Unfolds From There, Where We, The Audience Is Taken On A Journey Through The Criminal Underworld Of Prostitution & Human Trafficking & The Journey To Finding Their Family. Alot Of Action, Organized Crime & High Octane Excitement!! This Movie Is A Must See!! -Eb

It was a delight to be appointed as one of the main actresses in June Daguiso's film; Saving Ana, which was a much-needed production. And it was even more of an honor to see my visage, talents, and abilities on the large screen in Manhattan, New York. My role as Anna "Annabelle" is both invigorating and mysterious. Thank you, Cinema Village, and thank you, June, for such a lifelong dream that came true.

Wonderful film with great actors and actresses about human trafficking . I highly recommend that everyone see’s this simply incredible movie .

Saving Ana is a story of loss and redemption. It shows the horrors of human trafficking, and the power of love in saving exploited women.

This film brings up the hard subject of human trafficking in a thoughtful and important way that everyone should watch. Sad but inspiring at the same time. The film has an amazing group of talented actors, great writing and a wonderful theme song.

This movie really hit home for me! Too many children are taken and then never found. I know this first hand because it took me months to find my granddaughter then another 4 months to get her through court!! My heart goes out to the many parents who are dealing with this terrible ordeal! This was a great movie surrounding human trafficking and I was so very fortunate to be part of such a talented group of actors and actresses! Thank you to Director June Daguiso for giving me and Zaylah the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful and heartfelt movie! She will remember this forever!

This movie brings about awareness about human trafficking. This is a great movie in that it is about real life events and sends an inspirational message.

This movie deals with real life situations that are often not talked about such as alienating our children in our homes and child trafficking. A really good soundtrack and some great individual moments from the cast. Go see it!

The characters portrayed show how a whole spectrum of people in society can be blinded by their own ignorance sometimes, and that's when the people they love become susceptible to the evils of the trafficking world, which is ever present! A true wake-up call and modern classic! Plus, great performances, writing, and soundtrack as well, the theme song is the best! Thanks!
