Der Film gibt die historischen Hintergründe, welche zum heutigen Leid der Christen im Orient führen wieder. Die Zusammenhänge sind sehr zutreffend und beschreiben den tiefsitzenden Schmerz in der Seele der Christen. Der Film ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Unknown story of a genocide that accuared in 1915 !!! Very well expressed in this great movie. It shows some places in this world are still the same as hundreds years ego. Great work Aida Schlapfer!!! Keep up the good work!!!

The movie was powerful, telling about the massacer of 100 years ego and showing after 100 years the same community (Assyrians) is facing the same massacre in middle east. As a member of this small minority I'm thankful to Mrs. Aida Schlapfer doing this great movie. I had the honor to meet Aida !!!! Thank you Aida it was great to seeing you and hope to see your works at more successful places.

I went to watch it with my family and it truly touched our hearts. Go and watch it .. it's story that needs to be told and recognized. Applause to the Director Aida for her work. ????????

EVERYONE SHOULD FEEL COMPELLED TO SEE THIS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTARY. IN ADDITION TO FEELING THANKFUL THAT I GOT TO SEE THIS FILM, I FEEL EVEN MORE GRATEFUL THAT I GOT TO SEE MS. AL HASSANI AT THE Q &A, AND THAT THERE WAS A LARGE CROWD AT THAT SCREENING. THE MASSACRE OF THE ARMENIANS BY THE OTTOMANS CERTAINLY COMPARES TO THE HOLOCAUST, THE INQUISITION, SLAVERY, AND THE SLAUGHTER OF THE NATIVE AMERICANS (AS WELL AS THE MASSACRES COMMITTED BY MAO, POL POT, STALIN, SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC, SADDAM HUSSEIN, AND OLIVER CROMWELL'S SLAUGHTER OF IRISH CATHOLICS). IT'S ESPECIALLY TIMELY NOW BECAUSE THE NEWLY PM OF ITALY HAS YET TO RESPOND TO REQUESTS TO CONDEMN MUSSOLINI- AS WELL AS CONDEMNING THE PEOPLE WHO STILL LIONIZE HIM. PERHAPS SHE SHOULD SEE THIS DOCUMENTARY, TOO.

I was the only person watching this tonight and that in itself speaks volumes about why this film had to be made. It's a story that should be more widely known and I found this a powerful if at times perplexing contribution to that.
