It’s a heartfelt story of tragedy, self-discovery, and new beginnings. The cultivation of love must overcome some apprehensiveness and a significant misadventure, which complements a narrative with numerous wonderful layers. Superb cinematography reveals the beauty and ancient past of Lebanon, and a cast of honest characters all contribute to a delightful film.

Yesterday Went With Yesterday' is a movie drama not a documentary, yet it incorporates the real beauty and perils of a village, Karfahilda in Lebanon that has rarely been seen by second and third generation lebanese australians whose heritage and ancestral roots lay there amidst the 6000 year old olive groves and pine forests. A past of phoenicians who gave us the alphabet and a present now sprinkled with the landmines hidden taking a heavy toll on those that dare venture making precious land uninhabitable. The underlying themes are serious while village life continues with overlying warmth and humour as it follows the journey of man's return to the village after thirty-five years away and his delightful luring love interest. Excellent cinematic footage never before seen. Some great acting by the lead characters.Truly a must to witness.
