Benjamin Cox is the founder of Red Square Pictures, a New York-based film production company. As creative head, Mr. Cox oversees all aspects of the company's development, production and content-related activities. A producer, writer and director, his Red Square Pictures projects include work for a wide range of commercial/fashion clients as well as narrative work in both television and feature films. In addition to “Better Off Single,” another of Mr. Cox’s feature projects, an untitled ethereal dramedy starring Mary Beth Hurt, Aidan Quinn, Olympia Dukakis, Macy Gray, Peter Gerety, Emmet Walsh and Rachel Brosnahan, recently completed post production and was produced by Mr. Cox, directed by Dianne Dreyer and executive produced by Kevin Spacey. A fashion film that Mr. Cox produced, wrote and directed, "David Gandy's Goodnight," was named by Fashion Film Network as the second most-watched fashion film on earth the month of its YouTube release. Produced by Red Square Pictures in collaboration with both Dark Harbor Stories (David Schwimmer's production company) and Elk Studios, "David Gandy's Goodnight" also finished in second place at the 2014 Fashion Film Awards held during the Cannes Film Festival. Mr. Cox has studied writing and/or filmmaking at Columbia Journalism School, The New School and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Prior to founding Red Square Pictures, Mr. Cox spent 12 years as an investment banker in both London and New York.
