Renato (RICARDO HERRERA) a jobless gay actor is offered the dream role of a lifetime in a feature film, but he must play an elderly drag. He will be forced to overcome his fears and prejudices to understand better himself and the others.
Jill Wisoff is a filmmaker and composer, best known for songs and score for Todd Solondz's Sundance winner Welcome to the Dollhouse, and as bassist and backup singer for the late Johnny Thunders as an original member of hisrock band, the Oddballs. In addition to her composing work for various production companies, including Disney, she is a veteran of the indie filmfest circuit as director, actor, writer, and producer with her award-winning feature film Creating Karma. She met Gustavo Letelier when brought onboard as co-writer on his adaptation of Émile Zola's The Masterpiece, in development through Manhattan Filmworks, and currently collaborates on the English-language adaptation of his first Spanish-language feature film Even in the Best of Families. Since completing her MFA in Writing/Fiction at the New School in 2015, Ms. Wisoff focuses on honing her first novels,and moderates the New York City chapter of the Woman's National Book Association's reading group, with a focus on contemporary novels by women.
