Jyoti Singh, Actress by Career, embarked on the journey as first time director for making a film on her grandmothers life. It was a passion project, for First time Director, Jyoti Singh, along with her sister, Gauri Singh, who wrote the story and screenplay, with help of another sister, Ketki Singh. A love letter to their grandmother, as they were raised by her, along with their mother. They knew their grandmother, Princess Yadhuvansh Kumari (Alice) of Patiala was raised in one of the wealthiest families of Indian Monarchy, daughter of Maharaja of Patiala and Vimal Kaur, his favorite third wife, but they did not know at that time, what challenges their grandmother faced. They found out much later in their lives, How Princes Yadvi, ends up losing all such privileges in her middle ages. In 1940's India, before even a hint of feministic equality existed, how did their grandmother uphold her dignity and also raise her three refined daughters.
