WORKERS UNITE FILM FESTIVAL opens this Friday 5/5 with IN DUBIOUS BATTLE

- MESSAGE FROM ORGANIZERS -

Dear Friends and Supporters,
WUFF6/2017 Arrives this Friday, May 5th
Over 80 new films! Full Calendar online &   Eventbrite

Today is MAYDAY! Which means that the Workers Unite Film Festival has arrived! This season we have our hands full with the most anti-worker administration since Reagan, with a Cabinet of Billionaires who are looking to destroy our labor union movement. We will not let them! We are proud to salute the women of our movement this season in our new festival design, who led the way in the anti-trump protests starting right on 1/20.

This season we open with A Global Gathering Conference, from May 3rd to May 5th @ The Joseph S. Murphy Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies, then continue right into our first week of programming @Cinema Village, from May 5th to May 11th. We roll on with multiple events, music, theater and more films until May 25th. Come Celebrate!

Help Build The Best WUFF6/2017 Today!
As a result of the Trump election, labor unions and workers will certainly be at risk for seeing a roll back of many hard won labor rights, workers' protections and overtime pay rules. We need to shout these stories loud and clear, now more than ever. The GOP Congress has already started the process to bring a National Right to Work bill to pass. We will fight back by speaking truth to this evil new power trying to destroy us!
