Brilliant

This film hits home. So many of the ‘disruptions’ to western civilization that we see every day are not only addressed, but placed into a larger context. While the content is indeed deep, the film does not feel long due to the expert filmmaking techniques utilized. It is visually quite beautiful. I hope to view it again and share with my family.

THOUGHT-PROVOKING FILM WITH SOME NEGATIVE GENERALIZATIONS

April 24, 2023
THIS WAS CERTAINLY AN IMPORTANT FILM TO MAKE BECAUSE IT PROVIDED A BALANCE TO THE RHETORIC MADE BY INDIVIDUALS LIKE JEREMIAH WRIGHT AND THE LATE GUS HALL WHO HAVE ALWAYS DEMONIZED THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. HOWEVER, THERE WERE ALSO NEGATIVE GENERALIZATIONS MADE BY THE PARTICIPANTS IN THIS FILM. I DON'T THINK THAT TERMS LIKE "WOKE" AMD "CRITICAL RACE THEORY" SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE THOUGHT OF AS NEGATIVE TERMS BECAUSE THEY WEE DEVISED BY PEOPLE WHO ARE RAISING IMPORTANT ISSUES. ALSO, I THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD TO BRING UP THE INCIDENT OF THE FATHER WHO WAS UNFAIRLY ARRESTED AFTER HE TRIED TO GET A SCHOOL BOARD TO LISTEN TO HIM WHEN HE WAS TELLING THEM ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER WAS RAPED BY A YOUNG MAN WHO WAS PRETENDING TO BE A PRE-OPERATIVE TRANSGENDERED WOMAN, BUT I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THE FILM SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT REAL GAY AND TRANSGENDERED STUDENTS HAVE BEEN HARASSED AND ATTACKED BY SOME STRAIGHT AND CISGENDERED STUDENTS. (THE BEST WAY TO AVOID ATACKS LIKE THE ONE THAT WAS COMMITTED AGAINST THAT YOUNG WOMAN IS TO HIRE MORE SCHOOL SAFETY AGENTS. IT WOULD PROBABLY ALSO BE GOOD TO HAVE SEPARATE ATHLETIC COMPETITIONS FOR THE TRANS FEMALE ATHLETES BECAUSE THEY DO HAVE A PHYSICAL ADVANTAGE OVER THE CISGENDERED FEMALE ATHLETES. EVEN CHRISTINE JORGENSON- THE WOMAN FOR WHOM THE TERM "TRANSSEXUAL" WAS COINED SAID SOMETHING SIMILAR DURING THE CONTROVERSY ABOUT DR RENEE RICHARDS BACK IN THE MID-70'S). I ALSO THOUGHT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE DIVERSITY AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS ONE BLACK MAN, ONE BLACK WOMAN, ONE ASIAN WOMAN, AND TWO OR THREE WHITE WOMEN , MOST OF THE PARTICIPANTS WERE WHITE, STRAIGHT, CISGNDERED MEN. THERE REALLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOMEONE FROM ARABIC OR EAST INDIAN DESCENT- INCLUDING SOMEONE FROM THE MUSLIM OR HINDU RELIGIONS, AND ALSO FROM A NATIVE AMERICAN OR SOMEONE WHO IS GAY AND/OR TRANSGENDERED.

Powerful | Stunning | Insightful

I was lucky to attend a sneak preview of Civilization in the Danger Zone previously. This gorgeously produced film is a must-see. In a brief 65 minutes, the fast-moving documentary informs viewers of the sources and effects of threats to Western civilization. We begin to see connections that were previously hidden. And what a cornucopia of astute experts! This is a film to watch, view with others, study and discuss. And see again, with students and family. Deserving of multiple awards.

Eye-Opening Film

April 20, 2023
Holy Cow! What an eye-opening film. A friend asked me to join him to see this, and I agreed without enthusiasm. Was I wrong! This was like a gathering of my favorite teachers from college. Talks about how our values, and liberties are being chipped away and destroyed made me think how important our freedoms are, and should not be taken for granted. See this film! I loved it.

I was fortunate to see this film recently. It is extraordinarily well done and powerful. Many luminaries share their insights that are imperative to understand during this third decade of the 21st century. The film is appropriate from high school students through grandparents. Watching the film with classmates, family, friends or within a community setting is most preferred. Hopefully, the film will be nominated and win prestigious awards.
