Synopsis:
The Creepers are thrill-seeking urban explorers who love pushing things to the edge, and their latest stunt – livestreaming from New Jersey’s abandoned Paragon Hotel – is their biggest yet. With its mobster past, supposed ghosts, and rumored stash of $300 million, the Paragon is catnip to the Creepers, a surefire way to increase their fanbase. But fear has other plans. Daring to enter the Paragon, not heeding the warnings, the Creepers fend off deadly rivals while supernatural creatures stalk them from the shadows, testing their endurance, sanity, and willingness to pay fame’s heavy price.

PULSE-THROBBING THRILLER WITH HIDDEN SHOCKS

DIRECTOR MARK KLASFELD & SCREENWRITERS STEPHEN SUSCO, SPENCER MANDEL, & DIKEGA HADNOT HAVE CONSTRUCTED A HEART-STOPPING THRILLER THAT IS IN THE TRADITION OF OTHER MACABRE THRILLERS (SUCH AS "THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT," "THE COMFORT OF STRANGERS," & "THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE") IN WHICH WE SEE HOW PEOPLE SEEKING ADVENTURE END UP IN SITUATIONS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL. SINCE THE SOLE AIM OF THIS FILM IS TO ENTERTAIN US WITH AS MANY SHOCKS & THRILLS AS POSSIBLE, WE CAN'T EXPECT ANY GREAT ACTING FROM ANY OF THE ACTORS OR ACTRESSES IN THE FILM. HOWEVER, THEY INTERACT SO WELL THAT YOU DO GET THE SENSE THAT THEY HAVE A BOND IN REAL LIFE. PERHAPS THEY WILL BE ABLE TO USE THEIR SKILLS TO REUNITE IN A FILM THAT WILL PROVIDE THRILLS & ALSO HAS SOME EMOTIONAL SUBSTANCE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM DO A REMAKE OF RONA JAFFE'S "MAZES & MONSTERS."
